The Association of Spanish School in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala was founded in December 1997 with the proposal to fortify, elevate and guarantee the quality of the education of Spanish as a second language in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
Our Mission through our member schools is to provide foreigners with a diverse, personalized education of the Spanish language, through an intensive immersion into our culture, traditions, politics and nature, at the same time promoting our services with sustainable strategies.
All member schools are recognized and authorized by the Guatemalan Ministry of Education MINEDC and employ a core group of teacher who have received professional level training and instruction on teaching Spanish as a second language.
ACEEQ works closely with the Ministry of Education, the National Institute of Tourism INGUAT, the University San Carlos de Guatemala USAC through the Education’s Institute for Teachers de Enseñanza Media and the Institute of Training and Productivity INTECAP to provide teacher training and continuing eduction programs.
ACEEQ and the member schools are taking the initiative to reach out to Universities, Colleges, Business 
Groups, Health care providers and all other institution and groups that realize the value and need of learning Spanish in today’s world.
